Peaches' First Litter
|

|
Puppies: Peaches had her first litter of puppies on Halloween, October 31, 2007. The three puppies, two girls and one boy, were all an unusual champagne color. They originally looked Cafe-au-late, but they have black points, not brown. They will probably be small miniatures or large toys.
Their coloration is unusual in that the champagne hair has
white hair has intermingled. They have white chests and one puppy,
Byron has a white spot on his head. The puppies were born with white
points (nose and foot pads) that have turned black with time.
However, Byron still has a pink nose and some pink foot pads. It is
almost the reverse of a parti poodle. |

All puppies come with CKC puppy registration papers and health guarantee. They have had their tails docked and dewclaws removed. They are current on their deworming (Panacure every two weeks) and will got their first vaccination when they are 6 weeks old.
These will be Christmas Puppies, so will probably go

This is Byron
(Sold)
at four weeks.
He is the only boy in the litter. He is the
same unusual champagne color as his litter mates, but he has a large
white spot on his head. His hair is a mixture of colors which
is hard to describe or photograph. The most accurate
photograph is the first one in the second row. His nose looks brown but
will probably change to black as most of his foot pads have.
He was born with a pink nose! We are guessing, but we think he
will be a small miniature of about 8 -10 lbs. Byron has a
small accident that cut his neck. It is all healed now, but
treatment required a lot of handling on our part. He has
become very human oriented and asks to be picked up and held.
He is also very adventuresome and notice that he had to be held to
get his picture as he would wonder off to investigate something.
He is still available at $400.00. |

This is Austin
(Sold) at four weeks.
She is the lightest colored, and largest puppy in this litter.
Note that there is no doubt about her nose color. We are again
guessing, but we think she will be a small miniature of about 9-11
lbs. She knows she is a handsome puppy, and she looks right at
the camera. |

This is Shelly
(Sold) at four weeks.
She is the darkest puppy in the litter. You can
see the colors of the three puppies in the picture at the top of the
page,
Byron, Austin, and then Shelly. Again, she has a white chest.
Shelly is the smallest puppy in the litter and will be a large toy
or possibly a small miniature. She has a small face like
her mother. |

Dam:
Peaches is a light red colored, large toy poodle.
Her color is attractive due to the shiny highlights. She has a
small face, which would be a fault with AKC, but I think it makes
her look sweet. She has the sweetest personality and knows my
every mood, comforting me if I am unhappy. She stays with me
in my office and sleeps on the bed at night. Yes, we have
spoiled her, but part of her wonderful personality is genetics.
I am hoping she passes some of her personality on to her puppies.
Sire: Ojiboo, our
black parti dog. Picture on the right above. Peaches was
supposed to be bred to Red-Head Willie to get red puppies, but she
found a way to get to Ojiboo when we were not watching. Ojiboo
live on our back porch and sneaks into the house sometimes.
Both Peaches and Ojiboo are small miniatures, just over the 10 inch
standard. |
